Taxes

One of the issues that John McCain approves of is a tax cut. Once elected president, he will work hard to make sure that the tax money is not used in unnecessary projects, much like the Bridge to Nowhere. McCain opposes “pork barrel spending” (a monetary system where tax dollars are used to pay for the expense of projects where the nation as a whole does not benefit), but approves of not only lowering the taxes, but using the money to help the soldiers who are fighting in the war, paying down on national debt, and making good on the nation’s financial assistance at home, which includes senior citizens. Since McCain is a Republican, he feels that there should be less government involvement, which means that he supports low tax rates.
